Speaking during a British podcast called Off Menu presented by Ed Gamble and James Acaster, Bridgerton actress Nicola Coughlan, who plays the part of Penelope, has made two very interesting revelations.

The first one is that before she rose to stardom, she had lived in Malta for a brief amount of time throughout her Erasmus experience.

And the second revelation, and perhaps the one with which most of us can identify, is that this is when and where she’s had her first taste of what she calls one of the best types of bread in the world: the crunchy Maltese bread.

Although she said she likes it best with tomatoes and olive oil, she did say that locals love it with different kinds of toppings.
