We’ve all had enough of restrictions which since the early weeks of the year 2020, saw various degrees of lockdowns, closed venues, and lack of spaces where before people used to socialise.
This however, is changing today, as the laws which hindered standing events from taking place in the Maltese Islands as a mitigation to the spread of the COVID-19 virus, will be removed, therefore restarting some of the events that many wish to attend to.
Undoubtedly, such changes have been welcomed by the entertainment industry with many Summer events announcing dates as ticket sales go live, with big names seemingly returning, such as Lost & Found, Earth Garden, Lewis Capaldi in Concert and the world renowned Isle of MTV Malta Special for its 14th edition in the Maltese Islands.
Back in February, Health Minister Chris Fearne had announced such plans as the country enters a COVID-19 exit plan, ultimately seeing all restrictions that came by, being lifted, with the hope that common sense and decency allows for people to take care of one another.
This piece of news has been coupled with the recent announcement in the travel and tourism sector where laws have also been relaxed.
Will you be attending any events this Summer 2022?
