The yearly festival, which made itself part of the Maltese calendar of events, is set to return for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In fact, this will be the 13th edition taking place in the Maltese Islands, after arriving to our shores in 2007, for the first time.
This year’s bombastic lineup reflects the traction and popularity generated by this festival with many international artists forming part of its lineup.
Those attending would be able to see the likes of bbno$ – the artist behind hit song edamame, Happier’s DJ Marshmello, the Unforgettable French Montana, Better Days’ Mae Muller and our very own, Shaun Farrugia who worked closely with Dutch DJ Martin Garrix on songs such as Starlight and If We'll Ever Be Remembered.
The show will take place on the 19 July, kickstarting what is now known as the Malta Music Week, which expects hordes of tourists who will be coming to enjoy the Maltese sun, beaches and nightlife!
This special week will continue with a number of events till the 24 July, including the Isle of MTV Afterparty, a boat party, and even a pool party amongst other events. For the full programme, you are encouraged to visit the Isle of MTV website.
While entrance to the general audience areas have always been free of charge, those willing to attend are still requested to register for a ticket online.
