December was a time to give back to the community and this is what the Malta National Youth Council (KNŻ) did on Sunday 18 December 2022 in aid of L-Istrina.
A flash mob fundraiser event was organised by the Arts and Culture Events section of KNŻ with the hope of gathering donations for the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation through the art of dance. The team behind this initiative made sure to provide a safe space for those who performed during the event.
Christmas decorations continued to enrich the experience of those present for the event. ‘Giving Back’ was the theme given to this year’s flash mob.
For this event, KNŻ collaborated with several entities namely, the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation, The Point Shopping Mall’s management where the event was held, and three dance studios/dancers: Nicky’s Dance Studio, Dancing Feet Studio and Ria Gauci – a renowned dancer who placed third on the first edition of Malta’s Got Talent.
