Single Player games certainly provide a lot of hours of fun but sometimes there is no better feeling than grabbing a friend, family or loved one and playing a co-op game with them.

As opposed to most games, A Way Out is only playable in co-op, but that’s not a bad thing.
Take control of either one of the two brothers, Leo and Vincent who are both wrongfully accused and thrown into prison.

Overcooked 2 follows the simple premise of having up to 4 chefs prepare a bunch of meals before a certain time limit, but it is not as simple as it sounds.
Each different level has its own hazards and traps that will make your tasks a nightmare to achieve.
Whether its couch co-op or online, prepare to test your own skills and your teamwork as the game constantly throws new obstacles to make your life in the kitchen harder.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Not your traditional co-op game, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a very relaxing and non-competitive game where you build an island from nothing to your perfect paradise.
The co-op component of the game comes in when you start visiting your friends’ islands to trade items, meet their neighbours and all around have a great time creating memories.

Portal 2

Portal 2 already has one of the best single player campaigns on PC, but Valve also managed to create an equally remarkable co-op campaign.
What makes its two-player campaign great is the tight platforming and physics in its levels, in addition to its witty humour and lovable characters.
With two players instead of one, Portal 2’s puzzles are much more exciting and confusing to play though, but that’s what makes the game a blast to play.

What other game could top this list except the highest selling game of all time, Minecraft.
The great thing about Minecraft is that it offers a completely different experience for anyone looking, be it slaying mobs, building your perfect home or travelling across the map.
The best thing about this is that everything can be done with your friends, both local and online.
Few gameplay experiences beat creating a new Minecraft world with your friends and watching yourself lose countless hours on your brand new server.
